Random Pics of My Lil Flock

Pics
Hey there Kat! I thought I posted on this, but I must have missed it. Picotee, correct feathers or now, is turning in to quite the handsome young fella. It's been pretty neat to watch him grow from just a little baby. :)

I got a couple of new roosters rehomed to me by another member. Both of them came with a name, but I am really fighting the urge to rename on to Picotee. I hope you don't mind me posting their pics, but they really did remind me of your little guy.

In regards to people wanting to lessen your experience here, screw'em. I've read a good amount of your posts, and to me it looks like you chickens are well taken care of. Their coops are much nicer than most peoples, and you do your research that's needed to provide for your flock. Some people just can't find harmony from within so they seek to take it from others. Don't let them have it!

Those are beautiful roosters!

And OMIGOSH! Your avatar!!! What a cutie!!! My boys are all old now (my youngest is 22). Is that little one yours????

And thanks as always, Chris, for your kind words. I don't exactly know why, but internet communications often forego common courtesy. It rankles sometimes.

That is our youngest, Jonah. He's a little waterbug! :D
He's also teething and learning to walk right now. I've had my hand full with him recently.

Common courtesy and common sense are not so common. :idunno

OMG it's awesome :love:love:lovereally good looking
I saw the photos of your chicks. they're so cute and your hen are simply fantastic :celebrate
Thank you so much! I love them way more than I thought I would. So does my hubby. We have now completely restructured our entire retirement plan to include chickens. We were planning on buying a condo in a very urban area to planning for a homestead in a rural coastal town. All because of chickens!

My lap chickens:

All 3 of my bantams sit in my lap every night before they go into their little coop.

Dandelion is definitely a boy. He hasn't crowed, but I don't think there's any question now with how he is feathering out. No Silkie streamers in his crest, but his neck feathers... Picotee's hormones are raging. Dandelion's aren't yet. So far, they have been inseparable. I hope they can cohabitate peacefully...
