I was wondering why one duck out of six would get angel wing? They're all on the same feed, so why? S/he's the smallest and always has been.

My opinion (because there is no proven answer) is that it is caused by weak tendons in the wing. The wing isn't strong and fast growing feathers weigh enough to pull the wing out of position.

Weak tendons could be genetic. They could be a birth defect. They could be no more than lack of exercise. It might even possibly be a deficiency of some sort in the diet.
