no it looks alot different then the PL ones.A muff or beard is the fluff under the chin/beak on the chicke.it is weird on that breed the crest faces forward like a b ig wind came through and blew it froward lol

The word 'muff' reminded me of ears, so I thought there might be tufts coming out of the side of their heads

hahaha yep some chickens actually do have feathers coming out the side of there head i wwill go find a picture.i just got done painting a picture for a christmas present for my sister.
