Chocolate? Where? I want some.

Dark is my favorite, but I'll eat it in just about any form. I've lost some of my love of white chocolate, though, ever since I ate a whole Easter Bunny and made myself sick.

I wish I could afford the good stuff more often, but even the bad stuff is still chocolate and therefore not bad.

no one likes dove chocolate???? its truly almost (i cant belive im saying this) buter that hershys....

Ghiradelli is my favorite American chocolate, but I've got another that only the Brits and those that have been to the UK might know:

Thornton's Eden & other assorted chocolates.

This alone has me wanting to visit London. Just for Chocs. Nothing else thank you!

My friend Sue lives in Bournemouth and sends me a box of Thornton's Eden mix for my birthday every year (and I send her Ghiradelli's chocolate raspberry squares for hers!) My birthday isn't until May.... its always a long wait!

I savor that box as long as I can. Some of the assortments are white chocolate with strawberry/champaign; another (Which I think is also white choc. which is fig & apple) milk choc with mango cream, dark choc with raspberry and dark choc with tangerine. And one with dark choc with choc cream center.

Another friend from Birmingham UK sent her son to stay with us while he investigated colleges in the US last summer and she sent a big box of Thornton's assorted mix: Dark Choc with Turkish Delight center (I've never had rosepetal candy before & its luscious!) and all sorts of cream fillings and nuts.

That stuff is just wonderful.

That Jenns Peeps is a troublemaker! What was she thinking posting this thread? I can't get away from it! Is almost like baby chick pictures! Anyone ever been to one of those chocolate expos? Where you pay for a ticket and sample everything!!!!?

I also LOVE toffee! And a lot of other stuff too.

I just wish I could HAVE chocolate. Stupid diabetes. Stupid heart problems! Maybe I could sneek in a teency weency piece and my bloodsugar wouldn't notice?

You need to get the dark chocolate...like 85% cocoa chocolate.

Since I gave up sugar almost 2 years ago, the 85% tastes great. If you are still eating milk chocolate, though, you may have to slowly make the adjustment by starting with 55% and working your way up
