Rant ! I'm Going Crazy !

As a Mom and once upon a time ago in love from Jr High through highschool (yep I married him and we are still married 17 years later) We actually graduated on 6/11 and got married the NEXT day on 6/12 lol our honeymoon was our senior trip

Anyway back on track, how old is he?

I'm not sure how having to spend time walking six miles a day is supposed to give the kid more time for his studies... I really just don't get that one at all. But, I guess the upside is that he'll still be in shape if he gets track back??

Door wise, only time I've taken my son's door off the hinges was when he slammed it... lost it for a week... but then, he was only 8 or so, not near as weird as doing that to an older kid... I can't imagine having to wait to use the bathroom just so I can change clothes without anyone seeing my 2000 parts... that's just humiliating and I've never been one for humiliation as punishment.

I know all about the unfairness between sibs... I got a C and I was grounded six weeks... Sis brings home an F and not so much as phone time taken... parents can be weird that way so I am trying, now that I am one, to be fair between ours... that's really all you can do... if you see something you don't agree with, then don't do it yourself.

*sigh* I know you won't like what I have to say...but...like I tell my daughter, if you want to be treated like an adult then you must behave like an adult. Adults who behave like children are disregarded. I also tell them that there are bad teachers in this world. It happens. But it is still your responsibility to learn the material.

When I had a broken leg, I couldn't drive. Because I couldn't drive I couldn't go to work (I was single and living alone at the time). Because I couldn't go to work I couldn't afford a phone - or computer/internet - and I even had to turn off my cable - so I had nothing to do AT ALL.

I decided then that I would complete my college degree that I had put "on hold". I had a friend register me for summer classes and I put my nose to the grind, and learned some things. I also used that time to find ways to improve my life by reading, training my dogs to bring me things (clicker training is wonderfuls!), and I started photography - a hobby that is still a passion of mine today ! (and I learned to cross-stitch - I was seriously bored!)

I say, take it like a man. Do the time. Sometimes life isn't fair...and that is all. Just not fair.

But maybe - just maybe - the extra time on his hands will be helpful to his grade. Stranger things have happened.

16 He works for the family's construction buisness so he can pay for insurance and gas for the truck.

Yesterday I surprised him & showed up at his house. I asked his mother if I could "borrow" him and because it was spring break she let me.

So I drove his truck and we went to Applebee's and dropped his brother and sister off at his grandmother's where I met their pet guard goat!

He just appeared there one day and they just fed him and he stayed. Everyone stares at you when you have little kids with you (6 & 8)

like they think you are the parents or something, its the funniest thing.

Yea, I thinks its because he ironed sashes for her for her wedding buisness for a couple hours. So she let him out.
