Sourland,
Thank you!

Yes, I am definately a control freak and I know the Lord doesn't like it when I try to handle everything, lol. If things don't improve with the meds, I'm going to talk to my doctor very soon. I shouldn't have gotten as freaked out as I did, but it happens with me sometimes, I guess.

I have stopped the "What if" thoughts now and am just very thankful that nothing happened any worse than yesterday was!

I'm also very surprised that no one tried to help DH.

We live way out in the boonies and last week when my oldest DS got the Mustang stuck in a muddy part of the driveway picking up the mail, (he's trying to learn how to handle a stick shift) I was trying to get it out, and not even within 10 minutes of trying, I had 3 complete strangers out there trying to help me get it out of the mud. They were just driving by and wanted to help out if they could, so I know at least around here, there are still some good people left.

Spook,
We have a form of AAA on our van through our insurance company, but not the Mustang, it is liability insurance only so the roadside assistance doesn't apply to it.
I will ask DH about talking to his cell carrier about the road side assistance, I hadn't even thought of that, thank you!

You may be able to add roadside assistance to the mustang even though the coverage is only liability. We have had it on all our cars--even the ones that are/were liability only.

Wow, that was tough stuff to go through.

On the bight side though...you survived it ALL! And it can only get better for sure.

I have panic attacks too, I know how you feel. I have roadside service through my insurance and on my cell phone through Verizon. I've used them several times because most of the time I have no one I can call for help.
Sit down with a nice cup of tea, watch a good movie or a tv show you like and relax. Take a bath, do anything you can to get your mind off of what has been happening and the stress you are under. I have a friend who is aware of my panic attacks and I can call her when I feel one coming, and if it hits with no warning I know I call her and she can help talk me out of it until I can calm down myself.

Thank you all for the support, hugs and PM's.

I haven't had a great day today, been sick to my stomach most of the day from the fall out from the stress yesterday.

I'm trying to keep calm and relaxed, but it's been hard to do that being sick to my stomach as I hate to be sick.
Dh is going to be checking into the Verizon roadside assistance for the Mustang, if it's possible to repair.

Good news is that he went and bought a reliable car today.

It's a 2008 black Prius that only has 12K miles on it and was a 1 owner.
Dh LOVES it! I'm Ok with it, it's not my sports car, but it is a pretty cool little car and has tons of room and lots of gadgets. I'll get used to it soon.

I'm having a rare glass of wine tonight to help settle my stomach and to help with sleep tonight. So far, so good and it's quiet, so that helps a lot also to help settle ragged nerves. I'm also going to call the doctor tomorrow to see if I can handle this over the phone with a dosage change or if it's something that I'll need to go in for.

Will update when I hear something about the damage to the Mustang.... I'm really hoping that it's going to be repairable.

baltimore you are talking to the queen of panic attacks.. they run rampant in my family from grandmother to my grandaughter at age 8.. talk to your doctor and see someone to help you conquer them.. there are many meds to help you out. some can even stop them before they get full blown and you only use the med when you need it.. i am on two meds to help me control it and i can say after 40 yrs of attacks it is nice they finally know what it is. it is so commonplace now adays and they can be treated.. gl and talk to your doctor..just know you are not alone and the statistics are 90% of people will have at least one attack during their life time.. me? i had several a day. and if i can control it you can too!

WildOrchid,
Wow, thank you for that!!

We've been distracted for the last two days, to add more things onto the rest, my MIL is in the hospital with breathing problems.
hmm.png

She was admitted to the ICU this morning and right now is in a medically induced coma to help her heal and for a ventilator help her breathe while the doctors do thier work and God does His. We've been there through this before 2 years ago, and since then, MIL has made a great effort to take better care of her health and has been doing better until now. I'm very confident that she'll pull through this.

No panic, I think I'm too tired to panic right now...

The Mustang is fixed on a good note!

We're getting it settled up tomorrow, but aren't going to be able to pick it up until next weekend. It was a sensor that went bad, and it stalled the Stang out and she was in "stall" mode until it was replaced. We're questioning the price but other than that, my baby can come home and sit until I can get her repaired properly and restored taking my time doing it.

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. The middle DS has BB practice tomorrow early afternoon, we're jusggling all of this stuff and tension and it's getting to be a bit much for all of us right now and nerves are wearing thin. We need some rest, but I don't see it happening for the next month or two at least.

That was the odd thing though, you couldn't know who was in the car that far off the road in the driveway, and with a sagging roof in the Mustang, (this girl is going to get some renovation soon) it was impossible to tell who was in the car unless it was one of my neighbor's and the first couple who drove up to see if they could help.
