So this weekend I'm planning on getting the roof buttoned up, HWC for the run installed, doors installed and debating on paint or windows/vents and trim.

Mrs Raptor is going to be out of town weekend after this, and I can do the windows/vents and trim myself so I'm leaning towards paint this weekend.

We agreed we REALLY want to get the chickens transfered by end of next weekend. They are looking pretty sad where they're currently at, even letting them free range after work.

Well buttoning up the roof took way longer than I planned. There wasn't a whole lot Mrs Raptor could help me with but she did what she could.

Started on the HWC for the run, got one run done and called it a day.

Tomorrow we'll finish the wire. We were originally planning on getting some paint on the coop but we're working on limited amount of paint we already have. So I'm thinking get the windows and vents done. No point in wasting paint on those areas.

Anyways, today's progress...

Made some good progress today. Worked until almost dark.

Got the HWC cloth for the run 99% done, got the windows and vents installed and trimmed and got both doors painted and hung. You can see in the last pic of the door to the coop there will be another source of ventilation that will be HWC'd.

Still have trim on the corners of the coop, HWC under the overhangs, couple of blocks and HWC over the doors, and bunch of caulking and paint. Mrs Raptor will be out of town next weekend so I'll be solo finishing those things up. Plan is to transfer them next Sunday evening.

Yea I thought about that. We're just going to have to make sure they're clean every day. Not a lot of room for the roosting bars and to still make it conducive to us being able to move around to clean and such.
