this is Creamcycle. I am guessing a SFH chick.

This chick has feathered feet

this one i am guessing since these are rare selection chicks is a sapphire gem.

My 2 dark blue chicks are different one has feathered feet, one doesn't.

Cleaned the pen this am. That is why the are crowded.

Yes that is a Hei-hei stuffy. I had to cut the tail and the comb off, it was too big, they like him though.

I also ordered from the rare assortment for early January, 10 female and 15 straight run. So excited to see the mix!

I actually ordered some the week before, they had a snow storm and the shipment was delayed and I got the dead chicks on Thurs. This batch they came at 2 days shipment, Wed. All were alive. I gave them sips of egg yolk water and electrolytes, one was fading when I opened the box, and died the same day. Then one more died the next day. I don't feel too bad though, because they had to be shipped some place, and I am really good at early care. They do seem lower energy than my local chicks I hatched our 5 days earlier than these. I have not combined them yet.

The extended forecast looks okay there as of now, but that could definitely change.

What are the dates? I can pop some eggs in an extra incubator for you, since you are "Central WA" then if you need extras they will be ready.

They’re supposed be to hatching the 6th, arriving the 7th or 8th
I’m hopeful with 25 (+the two free ones) in the box, I’d be good even with some losses

I have 12+Lavender orpington- and 1/2 LO eggs due 1-2-2025 I don't want to share these though. But I have access to other local fertile eggs.
