Hatched 11/28/22. Delivered and pictures on 11/29/22. Had I’d been smart I would of looked to see what was available to order to have a better idea of breeds. Now it’s too late and does not show past availability. I looked thur lots of chicks but just can’t narrow it down. Should be all female 🤞
I ordered 1x rare breed. 2 colored egg layers. 1 meal maker free chick. I think #4 is white legbar but the others is just guesses. Could be all olive eggers or Easter eggs ? What throws me off the most is one foot has 5 toes. Does it look like a normal 5th toe or a deformity? Any guess on breeds would be appreciated.

I see puffy cheeks (muff/beard) on numbers 1 and 3, and I'm not sure about 2.

The one with a 5th toe and some feathers on the legs might be a Silkie-cross.

Looking through the list of breeds at Meyer hatchery, I find lots of colored layers that are some kind of cross, and many of them have muffs & beard.

This one says it could have feathered legs and 5 toes.

And all of the colored layers are also listed under rare breeds, so your "rare" chick might also lay colored eggs.

The Meal Maker is likely to be something more common, maybe a Rhode Island Red or some kind of Sexlink, but I don't know for sure at this age.

Perfect thanks I went back and forth with it it’s nice to have other’s thoughts as well !

That list says it would be an Easter Egger.

So that makes at least 3 that should lay colored eggs.
And the "rare" chick might also lay colored eggs, or it might not.

@Audi0 I predict lots of pretty eggs when those fluffballs grow up!
Absolutely! I’m super excited. It’s the crossover from rare to color assorted with breeds being in each that leave the guessing till later. This was my 1st ordering day old chicks but Myers did great and post office. I had ordered right at the cut off for the day ( wanted to make sure I was ready Before I ordered ) figured if any were left it was meant to be. Probably should not have check my personal email at work lol I ordered the chicks at 2:50pm and by 11am ( Ohio to central Florida) I had bright eye fuzzy babies. I was super nervous due to Ohio being cold and the long trip. Can’t wait for the eggs!
