Okay dog has killed a few coons

My cat bengal cat has killed so many rats, the thing is she just leaves them around anywhere. I caught and made video my guineas and buff orps caught some young rats and tore them to shreds.

I noticed though that rats have not been coming around now? Even if a lil food left over they are not here.

Can rats learn to avoid places of high danger? same goes for coons?

More than likely everything has been killed in the area. Others will move in to take up the territory eventually.

Rats (mice too) don't like stress. Mice when confronted up close and personal with danger and stress (like in the form of a cat) will often kill and eat their own young so that they can recycle the resources that the Mama mouse has already put into her babies and move to a safer local to start over again.
