I heard a gosling was screaming in the middle of 3:00 am in the morning. SO rush to my barn and I saw a rat pulling down my healthiest gosling inside a hole. I tried pulling my gosling away and save him but he ends up having seizures after the rat attack. This was a fat and healthy gosling who is near adulthood.

These rats became aggressive after I killed the monitor lizard who kills my ducklings. The rats have a taste for gosling meat. All of my goslings are gone again because of these rats. My ducklings are thriving but I will put them in a case because I want to put poison on tight small areas to get rid of these rats once and for all.

Rats are a menace, they carry horrible diseases like listeriosis among many others.
Just make sure that the goslings are somewhere the rats can’t get too until they’re gone because rats sometimes carry poisoned food into bird enclosures.
