So sorry to hear about your loss - i have had them as pets off and on over the years and they are GREAT! Sadly their lives are so short - that old saying only the good die young !

Im so sorry about your rat. My DD has a rat that has cancer she has already had one tumor removed but another has come up, so we are just letting her live the rest of her life out. They have no treatment for cancer in rats. Such a shame. They are wonderful pets. She has 10. The little boys always come to the side of the cage for belly rubs when I go in there. Give your son a hug from us. You are in my prayers.
