Will they not get electrocuted?

It's designed for poultry, so pretty sure everybody's safe.   I've touched the fence myself a couple times and although the shock is slightly painful, it's not life-threatening or capable of causing injury.

Im paranoid of being electrocuted. Maybe cuz I electrocuted myself when i was 10 or 12. I was plugging something into an outlet and touched the prongs! It jolted me, but didn't hurt. We have electric fence for the horses all over... my friend grabbed hold of it once and couldn't let go till the power to the fence was turned off
