Rats - a new way to erradicate them.

Thanks for this info I have killed 7 of those nasty things so far! I hate putting down poison afraid that all the other animal would get into it. This would be a great alternative to the snap traps and poison

I really like the gas treatment. We have a fairly small chicken house that is pretty tight. I have been fighting mice for a month now. I know there are living in the walls tho behind insulation, etc.

The question I have tho is after using the fume treatment from the car exhaust, how long would you need to air out the building where it would be safe for the chickens to come back in?????

What would it do to cats? I have cats that like my tea but thats another story, but what if they drink some coke? Would it do the same thing? Or since cats can throw up will they be ok?

Hubby is going to pull down the ceiling tomorrow to see if there are anything up there. Hopefully we've gotten rid of all of them and can work on putting up hardware cloth on any potential problem areas for the future.

Interesting idea with the coke. Who knew there were so many innovative ways to use a soft drink.
