Hello i have a problem with rats and mice that are eating mr chickens food i was wondering if you have a safe way to get rid of them with out harming my chickens. Thanks

  2. The Rat Zapper is very effective with mice, but i found it not effective with rats. They're too smart. You would want to set the zapper at night after the chickens are locked up, so they don't get zapped. With rats, patience and a pellet gun work best for me. Can you wrap your pen in hardware cloth to exclude the rats?

Bait bars in a chicken proof bait station works well for me. They work well and I have never lost a bird to poisining .
  4. The timing of this is good. We had a mouse in the run. We ignored it until it started climbing into the feeder. I just baited a trap with peanut butter and put it into the feeder with a weighted lid on top. No more mouse.
