My worst nightmare.

I decided to go to the walk in clinic,, $50 worth,, they checked me over in the area and said it was pretty good bruise, there was no broken skin in that area and I had washed it off right away. What they did find was on my right hand where I was wiping it off I have a torn cuticle and could have absorbed a little that way. My blood tests are good, and I'm not in any danger. Thank you for caring!

I put out a snake trap tonight! I rolled up some bird netting and put it around the baby pen so if any snakes try and get in there in the morning they will hopefully get stuck!

I almost stepped on an eastern diamond back at a park call big hills (yes it has big hills this park is huge). OH and I live in wisconsin. My dog kept barking at it!!!!

I also almost stepped on one at devils head park (it was a timber rattler) in WISCONSIN!!! I never thought rattlers lived in wis but i learned they have a release program to repopulate the rattler population!

Believe it or not, before 1975 there was a bounty (a fee paid to people who kill "pest" species) in Wisconsin on rattlesnakes, paying up to 5 dollars a tail ...

Nothing in the snake trap yet,, no new signs of movement in the dirt I so carefully last night! Suzy I just assume no matter where I go there are rattlers,, comes from living in the desert Southwest I guess!

I'm used to snakes I guess,, It scared the crud out of me though when I realized it did actually hit me. My neighbor said he lost a dog to a rattlesnake yesterday, his little poodle attacked on going through their land.
