Raw Hamburger or Cooked?

I’m new here and have a question.. I have a 10 hen flock of 6 1/2 week old RIR and want to give them some ground grass fed organic beef. How much do I give them? Also, I usually feed them either by hand (they are part of the family now) or on 2 large platters so all will get a chance to eat.. advice on how to proceed with beef please?

Raw ground meat from the store is likely to be contaminated with lovely things like Salmonella, which may not cause illness in the chickens, but can be passed on in or on their eggs.
We cook meat to make it safer to eat!
Raw commercial dog and cat diets are often recalled because of contamination, which also affects the people they live with. Look it up.
