So has anyone bought the Rcom50 Max incubator off of Amazon? I cannot believe it's selling for only $300!!! Most sites are selling it for $700 or more. Could it possibly be a fake knock off? I am REALLY tempted to buy it, but I wanted to check in with the BYC community first.

On another note, what's the best way to help a chick that is having difficulty coming out of its shell?
Thanks :frow

If the chick is ready to come out, keep the egg shell membrane moistened with warm water while you peel the shell away. Keep the water away from the beak.

I was told when I got my eggs that if a chick was having trouble it's ok to remove the shell to free it's head. But it has to have pecked some of the shell already.

I did notice in the reviews on Amazon, that it doesn't include trays. I have no idea if it even needs trays, but someone who bought it seemed to think they were important and expensive. I love Amazon! From my experience, if you get it and don't like it, you can return it.
