here is my rcom mini incubator on day 14 is this ok to ya'll

I haven't seen one of those before - cute. Too late now, but why incubate only one egg? Lone chicks are harder to raise as they are such social creatures, and it is also harder to integrate a lone chick into an established flock. If it hatches, is there anywhere local you could get it a buddy?

i was hoping that i would be able to get it a buddy from orchelns, but apparently they don't have them till the first week of march, but i live in southern oklahoma, i dont know where to get any right now, i was hoping maybe the swap meet that we have in sulphur, but at this time of the year, their are only full grown chickens

Oh gotcha. I should have thought of that! I started 14 and removed 3 clear eggs after the day 10 candling. Good luck finding a buddy - this is a hard time of year for that. I have four chicks that are 5-days old. I was planning on keeping them all but if you get desperate and feel like making a drive up to Wichita, I could part with one so yours has a buddy.

That is a cool little incubator! You could just sit that on your desk and watch it all day... while you type away at BYC!

haha

Are those little rollers that spin the egg? How does it adjust humidity?

Cheers!

yep that is what the rollers are for, and there is a humidity pump inside the incubator itself, all you do is add water where it tells you to add water under the little flap on the right side of the incubator
