Re-Introducing My Rooster

Any advice for how to re-introduce my rooster to his former harem? He's been away since May.

We are moving in a week or so, and we will be putting all of them - my established flock of 7 hens (his harem), the 2 new hens I rescued, and the rooster - into a massive new coop.

Do I need to do it gradually? Look-don't-touch set up? Put him in at night? Free range them together and let him follow them into the coop af night?

Start with a few days of look-don’t-touch. Should be OK after that if there’s no other rooster.
