So I’ve been active on here for about 6 months but it recently acured to me that I never officially introduced myself.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
When I joined I had 6 chicks. I now have 6 hens, only 2 of them are known layers.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 6 hens
(3) What breeds do you have?
(Honey and Ember are the known layers)

I love reading, hiking, camping, and anything creative and outdoors
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 mutts- Stormy(black) and Luna(white)

I’m the chicken ‘expert ‘ in the family. I’m in charge of everything chicken related and everyone else just enjoys the eggs (I provide the girls with companionship and lots of love because we all know that love is what makes backyard eggs taste so good). I love birds and they’re my favorite animal, though I love all animals in general.

I love your member name Chicken Cheeper!!

Your flock is adorable, so many colors and patterns to enjoy. I brought home Welsummers in late March, my first time with chickens. It was so much fun watching them grow up, and I couldn't believe how fast they sprouted wing feathers.

Luna is the name of our black and white cat I rescued on the night of a full moon, and Stormy would be a wonderful name for our next black cat.
