Okay here is mine, my dear hubby, and myself put it in 2009 for my gift for receiving my BSN. The pond is 16FT long and 16Ft wide, it has a 3ft wide bridge with a span of 18 feet across it. The depth varies from 3.5ft to 2 ft at the waterfall. The waterfall is 3 feet tall. These pics are from the first summer. The total gallons 4500. I have koi that vary in length 2 ft to 3 ft in it. We finally completed it this past summer. We sit out by it to drink coffee. We sit out by it to watch the sunrise. We now have grass over all the liner.

Thank-you!!

It is my getaway, I'll sometimes sit out there for hours doing my homework. When all the trees and roses are in full bloom I sometimes think I'm in a state forrest.

sure, I'll post...here is our little backyard oasis. normally you'd see our children with sticks or nets in these photos trying to catch various frogs or tadpoles.

we have some small Koi, shebunkins, comets, various frogs, and tadpoles..and the occasional bull snake in the rocks

this will be our 6th full year since the pond has been finished...I WOULD NEVER build one again..it was truely a labor of love..at the time, more LABOR than love....It turned out great..but man what a lot of work!! Never again!

We finished ours this past summer, the pics I posted was the first summer. Most of the cost was the biofiltration, we made ours out of a 50 gallon barrel, with bioballs and a 3500GPH pump.
