I did the same thing. When I came here I had a coop and 14 hens. Now I have a brooding coop, a breeder coop, and a 1588 incubator. There are currently 100 chickens at various stages on my property and 30 some eggs in the bator. Yep, this forum is costly.

Well, if it wasn't this section, one of the other sect would get you hooked in one way or another.

Yep, same here. I was going to only keep 5-8 of the 16 chickens that I received from the hatchery last spring, but I kept them all. Then I said I wasn't going to get any more this spring.............who was I kiddding! Now I'm going to hatch & add to my laying flock. Oh yea! My daughter is getting her own bantams. So we have to get ready and build a breeders coop and find something for her cute little bantams, plus do amendments to the existing coop & run.

I have to have more chickens to keep up w/ egg sells....right?

Hey, you are way ahead of me w/ buildings & chickens.

I'm going to have to get busy building soon, b/c I may have to live out there after I hatch & get new chick order in.

I need a new.....bigger tractor to, my flock out grew their baby one.
