Ready Set Hatch! Set 3/17 Hatch 4/7 - ready now! Hatch-Along

I have two out of my seven in lock down that I have not seen wiggle. I feel you stress! It is comforting to see some movement.

Just have to be patient. These little guys work in bursts, and rest in between. I am not expert, but it seems they put a big effort into getting into position, then rest. Then a big effort to pip, then rest. While resting then they need to absorb the shell contents, yolk etc, so the rest can be long here. The a push to zip, short rest and out the plop. They look weak, and suddenly have a heap of space to move. They adapt very quickly though.

To us it looks like almost nothing, but they are going through a lot!

Up to 3 pips here too! None of mine wiggle - even though they're in jumbo cartons with lots of room.
1 bluebell, 1 ee, 1 Br. (Ee & BR are home mixes)

3 out, and a LOT of pips! I think 7 pips here!

I'm starting to get weary :p

Make that 8 pips! Just heard another crack through. I love that sound :D
