Ready Set Hatch! Set 3/17 Hatch 4/7 - ready now! Hatch-Along

So there is still a lot of wiggling going on here
Good news.
MENTAL NOTE: arrange eggs so that I can see the ends better
Yep, fat ends so they can be seen, once the action starts if they are not secure they will roll around when knocked by the hatched ones.
Getting ready for work... Still wiggly in there. Maybe something new will happen. I actually gave them a pep talk about how great the big old world will be outside of the egg...they wiggled a lot during our little chat. I think they hear me
Good talk, see you out there lol. We talk with ours, especially when we walk in before sticking our head over the brooder.
I have a yellow maran. It was from the assorted marans I bought. Dark brown egg that said "gold" on it... I assumed golden cuckoo since they sell them. It's not cuckoo, barred, spotted...it's yellow. Definitely a marans though - feathered legs, dark egg. I guess we will see as it grows!
I meant to quote you WAAAAAY back when you posted a pic of Baby II Congrats on the great news. Was really hoping Baby's line would be carried for you and your family.

So many new pictures, WELCOME ALL, we share a birthday hehehehehe

well, I really think something is gonna happen tonight because the are wiggling HARD.. like really hard... I just wish the bantams would wiggle :(

woot! At least 15 babies out and right on time. I'm loving this big redwood bator; except that it's hard to see all the way to the back of the hatching basket. Lots more pips and cheeping in there tho!

Welp, 1 DC egg pipped a blood vessel, passed, and ended up being breech. Another just hatched with help and it was also breech! What the heck guys, haha. At least he's out though.

Only 5 eggs left and 2 of those are pipped. Woooh am I ready to be done.

Edit: 4 eggs left, just checked the other Cornish and it didn't make it. Apparently these guys are hard to hatch. Last one is pipped though so hopefully the guy gets 5/12 of his Cornish eggs.

UPDATE: 8 out 1 zipping, 1 pipped and 10 internally pipped and 2 just chillin. The other little end pipped egg had passed. :( but Topsy is doing good. Had some STICKY chicks eww. Don't know why humidity has been in the 30's the entire time until hatch. Dunno. Lol didn't have any sticky babies last time.

Do you mean crusty chicks? Like they look slicked back? I think that has to do with them pipping and sitting for awhile or something.
