Ready to sleep outside???

I have 4 week old chickens. Are they ok to sleep in their coop yet? I'm in Missouri and weather is 40-75 degrees now.

40 is too cold unless you are providing heat. I'd give them 2 more weeks.

It's really better to wait till they are fully feathered out - probably another 2-3 weeks. Daytime temps aren't high enough and nights are way too low. But, that is only my opinion, wait and see what others say.

X3 Unless you are adding heat at night, 40's are too cold for this age of chicks. So keep them inside another 2 weeks, or you will need to keep them under heat at night.

To add 4 weeks and 70* is good to be out during the day. Just make sure the wire openimgd are too small for them to fit through.
