Really. Awkward. Moments.

OMG I have too many of these momnents to list...

I was working for an ambulance company a few years ago and was driving down the road by myself dropping off an ambulance and was rocking out to Ice Ice Baby at the top of my lungs......when I realized that my knee was resting on the mic and everyone in the company heard me over the emergency radio.

In rural TN, slippers and pajama pants seem to be approved attire for shopping at Wal-mart. Alternative dress is Daisy Dukes shorts and a tank top, with midriff exposed, of course. I try not to shop at W-M, so I don't often have to look at this. Don't people ever look in the mirror before they leave the house?

Funny! Everytime I see folks who obviously are oblivious to what they put on to go out in public I want a magic mirror too! Because they have to own one that when they look in they think "Woo, I look goooooood!"

i use to, but this year i have found I've become uncaring of my appearance in public. i'm exhausted, over wrought, and no longer care what anyone thinks about me.

The other day I went to mail some bills, and i was so tired, I realized, I was getting weird looks, and realized I had walked into the post office in a purple tank top, and pink and blue pajama shorts with pigs with wings all over them, and ratty slip on shoes.

my waist length hair was brushed and braided at least. but I was in my own little world, and so busy, I just forgot to get dressed.

now I live in a tiny town where everyone knows everyone, and so I know I surprised everyone up there who is use to seeing me fairly put together, even when wearing my gardening clothes and covered in dirt, I'm never dressed like that.

I bet your face was red!
Years ago I worked for a courier company and they had very formal radio "rules" as everyone could hear everyone else. So, my 2nd day on the job (I was the only female ever hired by them) I was madly map reading at a red light and saw the cars each side of me moving forward so i started moving too BUT my lane was still stopped so I ran into the car in front

Out of the car steps 2 police officers

They then had to take me to the police station to make a report. So....had to get on radio and call base to explain and get someone else to get the package to deliver. Of course the boss had to scream at me and basically chuck a nana so everyone could could hear it. I just knew they were all

at my expense.
