Oh goodness I can’t believe i didn’t notice this! She always limps from a previous leg injury so I didn’t think anything of it. Can you please help me? What do I do? This is bumble foot right?

Thank you. Soaked it for ten minutes then tried to remove it with tweezers but it started bleeding. We stopped the blood but her back in to soak and tried again. We got some stuff out but then it started bleeding again so we stopped it and put her back in to soak. This is so stressful I feel like we’re not doing to right. That’s all we got outYes it is bumblefoot. To treat it give her a daily soak for 20 minutes in warm Epsom salts water or warm water with a little Dawn, chlorhexidene, or Betadine. After soaking the scab for a couple of times, then try to remove the scab and then try to squeeze out any solid or stringy pus inside. Rinse it with some saline or spray with wound spray, and then apply antibiotic ointment. Place a 2x2 and wrap the foot with 1 inch strips of vet wrap or cohesive wrap. Change the dressing daily or at least every other day with fresh antibiotic ointment and gauze pad. Scroll down this link for a good video on bumblefoot dressings:
