REALLY BAD CHOKING ( i think)

last night, I was running around with my rir in the yard, and she was eating some grass, and being chill. all of a sudden, she went limp, she couldent stand up and her comb turned purple. she couldent stand up at all. so me and my friend took her into my side shed to give her some water, and she kept opening and closing her mouth, like trying to make a sound or breath. then, she started to flip out, and get limp, and flip out again, it was like a spasm. me and my friends where horiffied, so we took her to an emergency vet, but they didnt know much about chickens. in the car, she slowly blinked her eyes, but wasnt having spasms. she also kept opening and closing her mouth. when we git their, we gave her to the vet. afterword the vet told us that she gave her an x-ray and was ok and calm. the vet didnt know much about chickens though, so we took her home and our hen slept soundly in the coop.

I think she choked on some grass, but im not sure.
ANY ADVICE??

Keep close watch on her and be careful not to stress her out.
