Really Bad Wound

I used to volunteer at a raptor rehab center, so unfortunately seeing wounds like that are nothing new to me (I have seen birds recover from much, much worse injuries). You are doing a great job taking care of her. The progress of the wounds healing looks good.

So do you have any updates good or bad ?????

Her wound is pretty much all healed up. The feathers are growing back. It had a scab for awhile but finally fell off.

The problem I am having now is reintroducing her to the two others. I put her in just a few minutes ago to watch. She pecked at the smaller one and then the bigger one started going after her. I took her out.

How do I get them all back together again?

Excellent question .....

I normally put the returning or new birds in a holding cage so
everyone can get use to one another all over and there is
going to be a pecking order reestablished so you can expect
some pecking but do observe as it can be damaging if let go
so just expect some hazing as this pecking order establishes
it's self ......
