really big egg

we went down to the coop today and we found this really big egg does anyone know if it is a double yolk or if it is just egg bound

You can candle or break it open to see if it is a double yolker. I would see no reason to think your hen is eggbound if she has no symptoms. Maybe your hen just wanted to impress you.

Every overly large egg we have collected has been a double yoker!
