really confused on this nest thing!!! help please!?!?!?

i just got a three week old saddle back for free because the guy said it was handicapped because his legs lay out flat he later sent me a picture of him in his nest and it it was sitting in a flat nest
wound housing him in a small round nest correct his legg problem and what do an adult pigeon eat i gave him some cracked corn but he rejected it

first off, good for you for helping the lil' guy! you can buy pigeon/dove mix at your local feed store. it might take some time for him/her to learn to eat by its self. jow old is it? mabe its not old enough to be weaned? good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for taking him in ! You can buy pigeon pellets or seeds at a local feed store. Im going through splayed leg now with one of my birds

how do you deal with the splayed leg ..... i mean like fix it ?

Well first, you'll want to put it in a bowl for some structure to the nest. You can use tape to position the legs under the bird and let them stay like that for a while. The kind of tape that only sticks to itself, like doctors use. Like wrapping broken wings to the body, only this case it's with the legs.
