Really long egg

Two of my hens lay very long eggs. It isnt a problem other than they dont fit in the egg crates very well lol Just thought I would share. The long egg is next to a regular size and shape egg for comparison.

Hey 2BD4C10C I have a bantam Langshan who lays long pointy eggs, these are a couple of them. No problems with identifying who laid these eggs when collecting

I have a long egg layer too, it's just how she does.
Someone told me they wouldn't hatch...or that they'd all be male...neither was true.
They are kind of a pain to fit in the carton, I put them in the end cups of the carton in the front where to lid will give a bit.

My EE occasionally lays these, we call them "torpedoes" here

We have a leghorn and a RSL that lay similar eggs, we also call them torpedoes! They are also always double yolk, we just stick them in a bowl
