Really loud hen! any solutions to help?

we have a really loud hen! even when they have food and water she sill screams all the time i was wondering f there was anything could do to help quiet her and a low price!

i forgot to mention that she also screams when her flockmate is not with her but even if she is there she still caws! i just want t know if theirs any reason for her cawing and how we can make it quieter!

Not sure. I have a hen that is very loud and "talks" a lot. I always know if she is separated from her "sister" because she makes very loud chicken noises. I know if she laid an egg because she sings the "egg song" very loudly. I know when she wants to get out of her run and free range because she says so! But when she is content, with her sister, fed, egg laid, then she is very quiet. I know when she is sounding off that she wants something or is not happy. Maybe yours has a "need" that you have not identified yet? I know sounds really stupid, but I believe they "sound off" for a reason. You just need to figure out the reason! Good Luck with her.

I have had some screamers and some loud talkers,
some go for an hour or so, some for most the day,
it can be funny and/or very annoying.

There might be something 'wrong' ....but not likely anything you can 'fix'.
Chickens can be noisy.

My most personable and most delightful hen is a screamer. She has the most obnoxious, incessant, nagging yell, and she does it when ever things are not going according to her plan. She yells to be let out, yells to be fed, yells if it's raining. She's gorgeous, a self blue Ameraucana. But her incessant nagging has placed her on the short cull list, and I will not be setting any of her eggs, though I really want to breed the blue eggs, muffs and beards forward in my flock.

I have a pair of loud talkers! My SLW and BuffOrp are both noisy all day long, I just talk back to them, lol!

I have a dog that barks to entertain himself. He will bark at nothing. He prances around barking and really enjoys it. Problem is that he will bark for HOURS! Needless to say he wears a bark collar 1/2 the time!
