Really need help to figure out what type of chickens I have new pics

Yes, I think they look like faverolles, although the photos are too small and fuzzy to really tell much (even when enlarged). What kind of comb do they have, and what colour egg do they lay?

I do not see any red birds, I do see some buffs. Kind of looks like white in hte earlobe area though.

Ratehr than rehashing the differences between araucanas, ameraucanas and easter eggers here, please go read the sticky.

Buff/red ones may be comets/red sexlinks or Buff Orps?
White one are EEs... I also have a standard size one that resembles them a lot.

I agree that they look similar to salmon Faverolles, but she said they lay blue/green eggs. So I vote EEs.

As for the difference between Ameraucana's and EEs, visit this link. Don't get us wrong, EEs are GREAT birds and most of us have 'em. They just aren't the same thing as a pure-bred Ameraucana as far as a breed goes.

Hope this helps!

with anyone I am completely new to the backyard chickens, and I am just trying to learn as much as I can and I was trying to figure out breeds in case I decided to get a roo and do some breeding, so I apologize if I upset or caused any problems that was not my goal, I was really hoping to get more info on the red ones more then the bantams (which have pea combs and lay blue/green eggs, I have 2 buff's ophangtons and they are not buffs but they are to light to be RIR so I am just trying to get some guess thanks to all that have helped. I will try and get some better pictures.

Woah..wait,wait,wait..Ameraucanas and Easter Eggers are not the same thing. There has been much discussion about this in the breeds section.
See the sticky at the top.
I vote for EE.

What I meant to say was they some what the same. The both lay blue and green eggs but an EE can lay all colors and EEs are mutts. I did not explain right.

Here is a picture of the red on I am trying to figure out
Red

Here is a pictures of Jessi one of my bantams

Here is jessi and red together

Are these pictures any better took them with my roommates camera.

Your "red" looks like a buff plymouth rock. Reds of any sort are much darker, even the production reds.

I wasn't trying to start a fight; I am sorry if I sounded terse. Too often the EE/ameraucana talk gets into fights, and since the same information is hashed over and over again, people sometimes get a bit testy. By going and reading the sticky that would hopefully be averted.

I hadn't seen a comment about egg colour. If I had I would not have mentioned the faverolles.

While it is not uncommon for EEs to have muffs & beards, not all do. The only theing they really have to have is an ancestor who laid a blue or green egg.

Not really. EEs are mutts. They may share some traits but really they are vastly different, depending on what other breed was used.

And ameraucans should only lay blue eggs, even though alot lay green.
