yes a light yellow I am thinking red star sex link I am not sure about the buff rocks they look like both red star and buff rocks so I am not sure one has more white then the other and one has a really bright red head my mom thought one was a roo but she laid and egg so no roo I am confused I know that I have 2 Plymouth barred rocks, 2 buff ophangtons and 4 bantam EE's the last 2 pumpkin and red are a mystery to me I just can't figure out what they are
the guy I got them from had gotten them as chicks at a feed store and couldn't remember how old they were either
he had probably over 100 chickens and was taken a bunch to the sale barn, I paid $7.50 for each of them and $5.00 for the first bantam so they can't be that unique of a chicken I am going to the feed store in spring and see what they have maybe that will help me figure it out. these last 2 just started laying but pumpkin just went through molting
thanks to everyone's help I really appreciate it.
I vote Red Star sex links. Barred shouldn't have the white on them like yours do, but the sex links can. (opinion based on photos and my limited knowledge of the breeds, so it's not worth much).
