Hi everyone...just wanted to intro myself. I'm Julie from WA State and I am JUST staring the chicken raising. I love all animals but really look forward to raising my own chickens. I will be getting my coop the end of the week and getting 4 pullets on Sunday. I have learned SO SO much from this website. THANK YOU. Can't wait to learn a lot more and meet new chicken friends ;)

Those are some very nice breeds that are pretty, friendly and well lay well. Leghorns are great layers but some of them can be a bit skittish.

    Enjoy them! :)
