Reasons to live in the South

Don't forget the fire ants. They make the coolest looking hills and when they bite you the pain is exquisite.

When i lived down south the best thing for me was the pretty beaches (HATE the ones up here... HATE them with a passion and the frickin COLD water up here..they're not EVEN beaches..

), manatees

, seeing gators floating on the ponds... and all the wild life.. fishing off the piers and catching striped angel fish and sting rays and small sharks , and even a puffer fish! ....
the smell of the orange groves... and the nice people. Folks just seem "nicer" down south...
OOh and the grits!!

Can live with out those dam dive-bombing palmetto bugs though..... and those HUGE house keeper spiders... ooh the trauma the first time i saw one of those suckers.. *shiver*

The best thing about the south? They know how to grow um! an I'm not talking gardens.


Yes, other places out in the country wave but in the south it even happens in down town Atlanta.

I like walking in to Yankee stores when I'm up north an just start talking to everyone... I swear nothing makes a bunch of Yankees squirm like someone talking to them in a store. They really lose it if you start talking to them in a public restroom.

All that is nice, but you cant beat Granys southern home cooking, chicken n dressing, dumplings, eggs homemade sausage, souse, want me to keep going, NO sour krout & pork for this old boy, ever how you spell it.
