You know, I have never cleaned a coop with anything but a pitchfork, broom and fresh air. Chickens are susceptible to chemical fumes. Remove soiled bedding, sweep up dander, add in new fresh bedding, pile it in deep. Once a week top the bedding with scratch - breaks up poop clumps - so it dries out.
You want a dry coop, as dry as possible. One of the worst smell producers is rotten feed. A lot of times newbies and some oldies over feed their birds, and spilled feed gets trampled into the bedding and begins to break down. I feed in the run, double bowl my feed, and only feed enough for the day. If there is a lot left over, I feed less the next day, if there is none left over, I feed a bit more. My birds clean up their feed.
Do put your feed under some type of shelter in the run.
I would not advise using this product.
