I think it is great that you are rebuilding. Just a caution however. It looks like you have used chicken wire on the sides of your wonderful coop. If so, predators may be a problem. I would hate for you to do all this work and then have birds destroyed by a fox or racoon. Good luck!

I had taken apart one of the coops, and reused most of it.

Now, I am thinking of what kind of bedding should I use for the pens? Sand? Wood shavings? Straw? Corn cobs? Or just plain old dirt floor?

I use sand in my pens. I love it!

Looks great! It's the best looking 'no cost/low cost' coop I've ever seen!

Daron, we use sand and I love it. It's great for drainage. I rake out the runs every now and then to keep them clean.
