Saline is very good for chicks, but since the wounds have been cleaned and Neosporin has been applied, I wouldn’t get them wet again. You may need to bring them inside where it is warm or you have a heat lamp when cleaning the wounds tomorrow. I really hope that your chicks can get over this, but the one’s wounds look serious.

The one with the vent injury, I would clean it like you did the other chick. Since there's a lot of feathers getting into that wound, I would carefully trim those so the wound can stay clean and the feathers don't stick in the ointment.

Is vet care an option for you? With the wing ripped off and some bone exposed, consider an antibiotic.

they're doing well! i have them housed together away from the other chicks and neither of them are pecking each other. they have a good appetite and are very active and vocal :]

That's awesome news!! If you were to notice pecking you can use blue kote it disguises the wounds to prevent pecking.

Yep! Neither seem to be showing signs of infection, and both have healed pretty well since the attack. I have faith!
