Recipe suggestions, please

I will be baking Wednesday, thanks! My dad doesn't like overly sweet desserts and I'd like to try this for him. Please do post about the lemon version. TIA

I edited the recipe but have yet to bake one.

It is not an overly sweet cake at all.

I may try swirling in some cherry pie filling just for fun at Christmas. I also dust with powdered sugar sometimes.

Oh and I have always had to go the 75 minutes to get it done fully.
