Recommend An Incubator For Me

Wow, the Brinsea incubators don't get alot of publicity, but they are some of the best. The cost is prohibitive for some. The Genesis 1588 is darn near as good, but cost alot less. You can get a Octagon 10 for close to the same price, but most of us get so hatching obsessed that the Octagon 10 just isn't big enough. Brinsea sure makes a great incubator, but for most, the Hova-bators are more cost efficient.

What does anybody think about a Lyon TX-7? I have a hova-bator 1602N with a circulating fan added after market. I haven't an a decent hatch yet and am pretty frustrated at this point. I live in a dry climate and humidity is an issue. My temps don't seem to stay constant either, not like I would like them to. I only hatched 3 chicks out of 4 batches this year - 2 zero hatches (shipped eggs), 1 from a batch of 15 eggs (home eggs) and 2 from a batch of 30 eggs (home eggs). I'm trying another batch of 20 eggs right now. My temps seem to fluctuate 2 or 3 degrees no matter what room in the house I put the bator.

I have a lyons TX-6 and a marsh TX-6 both with auto turn listed on ebay. DH bought a brinsea octagon 20 advance with the auto humidity so I don't need the TX-6's anymore
