I would like to get an incubator, but have no clue what to look for. I would rather not spend more than $100, but if I really like something a bit more costly... Maybe. I would like an automatic egg turner with it too. One thing though, I don't want to spend $100 on an incubator, if it is going to be a crummy one. I doubt I will ever need to hatch more than 15 chicken eggs.

I found this one, what do you guys think of it? http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-H...885?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c3fefec5

Does anyone have an incubator to recommend?

That's a great price for the combination. If you forego the turner you could get a forced air or hope this combo's bidding doesn't go too high: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Advanced-Eg...325?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c64de77f5

Here is the forced air model http://www.ebay.com/itm/HovaBator-E...975?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35adcf462f

It's nothing to turn eggs in an egg carton twice a day so don't see a big need for an auto turner. The forced air units keep a more even temperature and I highly recommend that before an auto turner. The hova bator wafer thermostat is extremely reliable and user friendly, they are the best inexpensive incubators. Put eggs fatendup in carton, use a small block to tilt cartoon to side, to turn pick up carton and rotate 180 so it tilts other direction, do that twice a day and you've no need for an auto turner.

We got the picture window forced air Hova Bator 1583, older unit and at a great price ($75 with shipping), if you've got kids the picture window is a very nice feature. eBay again has cheapest price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turbofan-Ho...480?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c1e26ebb8

I would go with the one you had the link for and install a computer fan in it. Nearly everyone has an old computer laying around somewhere now days. They are easy to install. There are instructions here on the forum and I am sure you can google and get lots of help there too. I like the fact that it has the turner. But time saver and you don't have to worry if you are gone all day or even over nite.
I bought the genesis with the electronic read out for temp and humdity even though the humdity is way off the temp is close and my sister in law had an old model Little Giant with a turner that I am using it. But before that my son and I built a bator in a cooler with a light bulb and water heater thermastat and a computer fan. It worked. It was just smaller than I wanted. Anyway, That is my 2 cents worth......which isn't very much anymore. Not even a stick of gum.....

Worth more than 2 cents to me

That's a good idea - I was thinking of buying a fan, but we have an old computer we can take apart. No point it spending 30-40 dollars for a fan!
