Recommendations...?

Hi,
So I have an EE bantam hen named Hallie... She only has one leg, and gets around just fine.... She was always the alpha (top in the pecking order) even with one leg. She is sorta bossy, but easily gives up on fights to make “peace treaties” She is now living alone (I had a HUGE downsize and wasn’t thinking). Hallie loves people and I dont want her to be lonley. I am going to try to find Hallie a new bantam friend! What age, breed, size, etc would you recommend for Hallie?

How old is she? And does she have a buddy in the chickens you kept? You did such a good job downsizing that I hate to see Chicken Math sneaking in on you so quickly!

She has no one currently, and she is about 1-2 years old. (don’t worry chicken math has slowed down as I have cancelled my appointment for hatching eggs )

Is there a chance of getting one of your flock chickens back? She might accept someone she already knows.
If not check on craigslist. There are always chickens in my area avaliable.
I would get her someone in her age groop, and it may or may not be easy to find the right fit.
I would definately get a hen, not a rooster.

Breed doesn't really matter, tho I'd definitely get a bantam just because of her size.
It's all down to the individual birds demeanor's,
and maybe how you introduce them,
as to how they will get along... or not.
