In 1973 a penny had some value, times have changed.
1 other suggestion, no make that 2 ; Make sure that the turntable is on a solid surface where it can not pick up up any vibrations either from sound or movement on the floor , and make sure the table is level.
Good luck playing those big CDs. lol

WOO HOO!!! LONG LIVE THE PENNY!!!!!
My new best friend, 'the penny' fixed up my record player, lickity split!!!

I am, right now, rocking out to The Decemberists new album: The Hazards of Love
It is the bestest folk/rock opera I have ever heard......EVER!

Can you tell I was born in '81? I can fix up a tape that has been eaten by a tape player like nobody's business, but the last shovel-fulls of dirt were being thrown onto vinyls coffin just about the time I learned to use the 'big girl' potty(as my 3 yr old calls it)!

BIG THANK YOU'S to all you helpy helpertons!!!
