I keep detailed records of my hatches. I keep records on how many eggs I ordered and how many eggs arrive, who I order from and their hatch rate in a percent form. I keep records on where the eggs are in the incubator that hatch and that do not hatch. Where they are in the incubator to what order they hatch in. (I love numbers!)
I classify each in a category; Green/ Good, yellow/ Natural and Red/ Bad, each person I order my eggs from. I also have a link to their website, if they have one; Good, Natural or Bad. Everything is posted on my, personal, website that you probably will not find unless I tell you about it.
I ordered some eggs from a person on BYC ( I will not tell who!) and when they found out I keep records on my hatches they backed out of the deal and refunded my money. Not leaving me much time to find replacements, we only have one hatch a year. The reason I was given was if all her eggs did not hatch I was going to go after her for blood.
My question is: Am I wrong for keeping such detailed records?
