Me I love the specked sussex wich are on the threatened list. The Rocks are on the recovering list and so is the Wyadottes,so getting them helps also.

Can you locate the people that took your chickens after the fire? They may return them if they know you are ready now or when you are ready. I would try that too. I know if someone contacted me and wanted theirs back after a fire I would return them.
