Recycled Chickens: Let's share what we do to save money and build with recycled materials

Would you just look at that. If that is not CUTE, I don't know what is. GOOD JOB !! Great idea! :thumbsup
I have 2 broken hoes that I will find when I get home. Thank you for posting that pic.
Not my picture, but we are going to do it as well. :) Pinterest is fabulous. They give so many ideas on what to do with pallets (my brother works for Sameday courier, so he gives me pallets all the time).

My Coop is built out of lumber that I got from a company that installs marble counter tops, the Door for the coop is an old window from my wife's family, the walls are cabinet doors layered to look like siding. The human door on the run is a door I got from a farm and garden store going out of business. The tin roof and some of the 2x4s came from a friend that tore down an old tobacco barn, the feed scoop I made out of leftover tin of the roof.

I love recyced treasure and tools! My skids are currently used to keep milk goats in their section of the barn, and simutaniouly providing roosting or muscovey duck and a few young chickens.

Mine are waiting to be used for breeding pens. Right now they are also being roosted on!

My rabbits use it as shelter as well. Lots of room under the pile.
