Red abdomen

Hi. My chicken had a red a bit swollen abdomen. I was wondering how to stop the skin from being red? Thanks.

Chicken looks like she is molting,,, and new feathers are growing out. I have no IDEA if the red skin is bad,,,
Another thought to consider,,, If chicken goes broody, they loose much of the underside feathers to allow more warmth to contact the eggs.
